Why this site?

This site is an experiment in new methods for learning about computing systems that interface with the physical world (embedded systems).

I would like take this course in person. How can I do that?

The in-person version of this site is the combination of the third-year project “GB3: RISC-V Processor Design” at the University of Cambridge and the fourth-year/masters course “4B25: Embedded Systems” at the University of Cambridge.

I am an instructor at a university / company and would like to use the material from this site. Can I do that?

You can point your students to this site but copying material off the site to use in your own course would be plagiarism.

Can I book a personalized tutoring session?

No. The site has a prototype setup for you to book a consultation but that is just a proof of concept for online scheduling of tutorial discussions with participants.
